TOUCH STONES
At Touchstone workshops and events we explored ways to create works in cast concrete that could be installed in public and private spaces including: the Walk Here walkway, walking paths, school grounds, gardens, residential yards.
At Dupont Projects open-house workshops we cast cement pavers with patterns of finger mazes impressed into the surface as well as creating a wide variety of sample methods demonstrating different ways of casting and using materials to create designs and patterns.
At the JTAC / DIGIN Spring Festival 2004, we presented samples of paving sculptures and lead demonstrations with opportunities for the public to participate.
The Parks City of Toronto Parks Department has a number of Touch Stone paving sculpture samples intended to be installed at Wallace Emerson Park
We hosted weekly open-house work-shops at Dupont Projects calminating into an public exhibition.
Ursula Franklin Acadamy students participate as part of their intern program.
